Prompts

Good prompts are worth keeping. Chatty the Lab gives you a prompt library so you can save your best prompts once and reuse them across any chat, instead of retyping or hunting through old conversations.

The prompt picker

Next to the chat input is the PromptPicker. Open it to browse your saved prompts and insert one into the input with a click. It is the fastest way to drop a reusable instruction into the conversation before you send.

The prompt library

The PromptLibraryModal is the full manager for your saved prompts. From it you can:

1. Save a prompt — give it a title and the prompt text so you can find it later.

2. Reuse a prompt — pick it from the library (or the PromptPicker) to load it into a chat.

3. Manage your prompts — edit or remove entries as your collection grows.

Tip

Saved prompts are scoped to your active workspace, so a team can build a shared library of prompts everyone can reuse.

External prompt search sources

Beyond your own library, you can configure external prompt search sources so the prompt picker can pull in prompts from outside Chatty. These sources are set up in Settings.
